As well as the annual Chinese Visual Festival in May, CVF also runs events throughout the year and around the country, including partner screenings, our CVF Club sessions at King’s College London and regular screenings in Glasgow at the Centre for Contemporary Arts.

CVF works regularly with the British Film Institute (BFI) and other partners around the UK to present its Chinese New Year programme and other events, as well as with DocHouse, Curzon and other cinemas, including special screenings with partner festivals and cultural organisations.

Special CVF Club events at King’s College London are free and open to all, and over the past years have seen a number of guest directors attending screenings, such as Wu Wenguang, Zhang Wei, Guo Xiaolu, Lucy Sheen and others.
